As we provide lower-carbon town gas and continue to study the utilisation of green hydrogen as part of town gas production, for our future generations, we recognise it is important to uphold high standards of environmental management in the pursuit of carbon emissions reduction. Three key tenets lie at the heart of our environmental management policy.
As we cater to the ever-growing demand for piped town gas, we conserve water and reduce production by-products to minimise waste. Green hydrogen is our leading decarbonisation lever, with the aspiration to achieve grey hydrogen to green hydrogen conversion by 2030. Our ongoing efforts are in line with the Singapore Green Plan 2030, which articulates the nation’s target of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050.
