The Process of Applying for Gas Services

You will need a valid utility account with SP Services to proceed with the above services. To open an account, you may call the SP Services hotline at 1800 222 2333 or visit the SP Services Customer Service Centre at Toa Payoh HDB Hub.

All gas service work involving piped gas installation or piped gas appliances must be undertaken or carried out by a Professional Engineer (Mechanical) or a Licensed Gas Service Worker (LGSW). 

Note:

Please be informed that there will be a revision of City Energy Project Submission Charges, with effect from 1 Jan 2023.

Commercial & Industrial

  • a – c : With effect from 1st Jan 2021, applicants are required to make a non-refundable payment to City Energy before submitting the Gas Supply Application for commercial and industrial premises.

Residential – A&A

  • d: With effect from 1st Jun 2021, applicants are required to make a non-refundable payment to City Energy before submitting the Gas Supply Application for residential (A&A) premises.
  • There will be no revision of charges to consumer service pipe application (A&A), which is currently quoted separately on a case-by-case basis.
