New City Gas Interactive Gallery for Homeowners

18 March 2015

First-Stop Kitchen Solutions Experience Centre

Singapore, 18 March 2015 – City Gas, Singapore’s town gas and natural gas utilities provider, announced today the upcoming launch of a whole new interactive City Gas Gallery at PWC building, 8 Cross Street #02-01 to 03 on 23 March 2015. The launch positions City Gas Gallery as a leading retailer and an exciting destination for homeowners shopping for a wide range of kitchen appliances and solutions.

City Gas Gallery at Cross Street spans an area of about 325 square metres, almost twice the size of the gallery at Somerset. It is designed with a contemporary and sleek design, complete with quartz counter tops and glossy laminate finishing for a clean and minimalist look. The luxurious floor area allows the gallery to be fitted with a large retail front, enabling City Gas to transform the gallery to a first-stop experience centre for home owners as they scout for solutions that fit modern kitchen requirements.

The new gallery aims to provide a spacious showroom to comfortably accommodate an increasing number of customers who are interested in a wide range of premium kitchen solutions, especially eco-friendly and efficient gas appliances such as gas water heaters, gas clothes dryer, gas oven and gas hob.

Mr Soh Guan Hong, Vice President for Residential Sales division, says, “City Gas supplies town gas to more than 700,000 residential homes today. With the availability of almost 17,000 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats in 2015 and more in the future, we expect higher interest in gas appliances and premium kitchen solutions. The interactive experiential gallery will cater to the needs of savvy customers who are informed about the benefits of using gas – gas is safe and reliable, it is environmentally-friendly and allows for greater savings compared to electricity.”

City Gas Gallery continues to be the only place in Singapore for live gas product demonstrations which sets it apart from other retailers in the market. Customers will be delighted to find interactive features that further enhance their shopping experience; learn why gas is better, select the most suitable gas water heater and gas clothes dryer based on their family requirements at the touch of a fingertip. At the Kitchen Creative Showcase, customers can look forward to a wide range of innovative kitchen appliances such as new built-in hobs with timer control feature, self-cleaning hood, built-in disinfection cabinet and a comprehensive range of ovens.

With ample parking space around PWC building and good accessibility by public transport, the new City Gas Gallery at Cross Street is conveniently located to allow easy access to customers including interior design firms and food-related businesses. Another gallery is available at Woodlands Civic Centre for convenience and accessibility to customers. City Gas Gallery at Triple One Somerset ceases operation with effect from 23 March 2015.
