City Energy announced today that the gas tariff (before 7% GST) for households will increase by 1.17 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh), from 19.04 cents per kWh to 20.21 cents per kWh for the period 1 January 2022 to 31 March 2022. The increase is due to higher fuel and non-fuel costs compared with the previous quarter.
City Energy reviews the gas tariffs based on guidelines set by the Energy Market Authority (EMA), the gas industry regulator. The revised gas tariffs below have been approved by EMA:
