City Gas Pte Ltd, as Trustee of City Gas Trust, announced today that the gas tariff for households will be reduced by 0.84% due to lower fuel prices, from 21.54 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh) to 21.36 cents per kWh with effect from 1 Nov 2012. This follows the 2.8% drop in gas tariff in the previous quarter (1 Aug to 31 Oct 2012).
