City Gas Pte Ltd, as Trustee of City Gas Trust, announced today that the gas tariff for households will be reduced by 4.3% or 0.78 cent per kilowatt hour (kWh), from 18.25 cents per kWh to 17.47 cents per kWh for the period 1 November 2015 to 31 January 2016. This is due to a 17.1% drop in fuel costs compared to the previous quarter.
City Gas reviews the gas tariffs based on guidelines set by the Energy Market Authority (EMA), the gas industry regulator. The revised gas tariffs below have been approved by EMA:
