City Energy announced today that the gas tariff (before 9% GST) for households will decrease by 0.25 cent per kilowatt hour (kWh), from 22.97 cents per kWh to 22.72 cents per kWh for the period from 1 January 2025 to 31 March 2025 due to lower fuel cost compared with the previous quarter.
City Energy reviews the gas tariffs every quarter based on guidelines set by the Energy Market Authority (EMA), the gas industry regulator. The gas tariffs may fluctuate quarter to quarter due to volatile global fuel prices.
The revised gas tariffs below have been approved by EMA:
